Camp Okotoks Society has been blessed with a diverse and effective body of support. Over the years we have had many different options and opinions on how to get to the destination we all share, which is glorifying the Lord.
Without every helping hand we have had in the past provided by the Grace of God, we would not be the strong organization we are today.
But, just as the seasons change so must our placement in the Lord’s work.
We bring you bittersweet news that Bill Bunn and John Harder have resigned from the Camp Okotoks Board of Directors. Words cannot describe how blessed we have been to have them involved in the day to day operations of this Society.
We ask the Lord to bless their increased time with their families.

 

Next Steps

In result of the March Special Meeting, the Camp Okotoks Board of Directors have been getting to work on discovering what our next steps will be.
Our first step is gaining a more detailed knowledge of where the Christian Camping Ministry is at for Alberta. What their strengths are as well as their weaknesses. Once we gather the details needed, we will be meeting again as a Society to discuss these results and take the next step in approving an effective funding policy.
